PG&E has validated that the Aztech In-Home Display meets the minimum technical requirements that enable the In-Home Display to receive and display electrical usage data from the PG&E SmartMeter™ device.*
Pacific Gas & Electric Company provides their customers with the ability to wirelessly connect validated In-Home Displays to their SmartMeters™ and view information about their energy and power consumption in near real-time. This SmartMeter™- enabled technology is called Home and Business Area Networking. For information about the Home Area and Business Area Network (HAN) please see the PG&E HAN page. Important Notice: To find out if you are eligible for PG&E’s HAN program, log into your PG&E MyEnergy account. If you don’t have an account, you can sign up for one here. After logging in, access the HAN Dashboard by clicking ‘Home and Business Area Networking’ under ‘Additional Services’ at the bottom of the main page. The dashboard will display any eligible meters in the table at the bottom.
Once you have received your Aztech In-Home Display, register it through your MyEnergy account. Folllow the directions above to get to the HAN Dashboard, then click the ‘Register’ link to the right of the eligible meter(s).
